She was captain of both the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams that won their respective teams competitions.At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for the floor and team competitions, as well as the bronze medal on the balance beam, making her the most recognized American gymnast of the Games. She won a team gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to win back-to-back gold medals at this event. Raisman was also awarded silver medals in the individual all-around as well as the floor exercise. Raisman has silver medals from the individual all-around as well as for the floor exercise.
