Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American performer and actress. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen is born in Polish descent (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion in the performing arts from the age of a child. In 1992, Kristen attended her first audition. The audition was for an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell aged 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. Also, Bell began taking acting lessons privately. Bell had a role that was not credited of Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school, and she was awarded the role of Dorothy. After graduating, Bell moved to New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and learned about musical theatre. Bell completed her studies in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform her role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the scene in which Bell played the role was removed. In the end, only her credit sequence exists. Bell made an appearance on Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
